A Letter Written by Anton STEMPER to Karl & Anna (STEMPER) DIX in December 1913 tells of "Grandmother's Death" in Ferencvaros, Temes - unfortunately it does not identify Grandmother.
Read the translated letter dated
Jan 12, 1913.

We heard from the daughter of Anton & Elisabeth (ENGELMANN) STEMPER after WWII, asking for help, and we did send care packages and clothing.  The daughter, Elisabeth STEMPER b. 1894, then asked for money; but we wrote we couldn't.  We never heard from her after that.  It is thought Elisabeth married KERESTYLINE, a postal worker.

The below photo is believed to be of Phillipp DIX, wife Barbara MAIER & daughters, circa 1920-1930.
