The
Three Brestowatz Villages
Research findings of the 3
Brestowatz villages by Jody McKim, 25 Aug 2011
The three
Brestowatz villages were all part of Hungary in 1898;
(1) the Brestowatz from Temes County was known as Aga,
(2) the Brestowatz from Torontal County as Bresztovacz
and (3) the Brestowatz from Bács-Bodrog County as
Bacs-Brestovacz.
Note: In 1912 Torontal Varmagye/County became Temes
Varmagye/County.
