The following program begins
with showing the folk art program on
Friday evening May 22, 2009. The
German media from Central and South
Southeastern Europe were the invited
guests from home and abroad, to an
open-air performance on the Domplatz
(Cathedral Square ) of Timisoara.
Trachtenverein from the "Banat
Rosmarein," the dance of "Hermannstadt,"
(Sibiu) German Forum, a group of
Hungarian-German nationality School
Clara Leöwey" from Pecs, the singing
and dancing groups from Wurzburg,
and the brass band "musicians
railroad" from Freiburg.
Presenters of the evening was
Tatiana Sessler, editor of the
German broadcast of TVR
Timisoara and actress at the German
National Theater of Timisoara and
Adrian Ardelean, chairman of the
Radio Forum, editor of the German
mission of Radio Timisoara and
production of the German TV
broadcast of Arad. The cultural
program ran under the name "The
Donauschwaben return to the Banat",
says Hannelore Neurohr. Each village
have their own style in costumes

destination at the Cathedral, a
wreath was
placed at the monument, for those
who sacrificed their life's.

To close the ceremony, dancing
continued. The Großjetscha and
Jahrmarkt groups, performed their
Donauschwaben dance.
