Neighboring Village to Fibisch

Official: Murani, Romania - Hungarian: Temesmurány - No German variant.  Was not a 'German' build village, although there were some Germans who lived there in different periods.

Murani is a quiet village and small in size, just a few miles out from the main street in Fibisch.  My cousin Axente, recalls his youth and spending much time in and around serene Murani, where his grandparents lived.  Here he looks for the land where the house of his grandparents once stood; but it has been longer torn down.  Over the years gypsies striped the house for their own use.  Axente recalls playing in these fields and riding his bike.  We visited a distant cousin of his in Murani and his wife just made fresh bread, it was good!  It was an emotional visit for Axente.  Axente now lives in Ingolstadt, Germany, with his wife Renate and two children Axel and Bianca.
