The Mercydorf Priest maintained a list of German families in order to make sure they paid their tithe to the church.  Below is the original last list of 1992.  Their house number is after their name.  The names with the mark after the house number are still living in Mercydorf.  The ones with 'nicht bezahlt' means they did not pay their tithe.  If you have an interest in any of these names, let me know and I will see what I can find out.  If someone would like to volunteer to transcribe these names for us, it would be helpful.  Click images to enlarge
