My Great Grandfather was a LUPPERGER, his first name and his birth information are unknown.  He was married twice.  He and wife #1 (name UNKNOWN) had two daughters Anna LUPPERGER, Sofia LUPPERGER and one son Frank LUPPERGER (my Grandfather) b. abt 1879 Budapest Hungary.   Wife #1 died when Frank was 12 months old.  Great Grandfather LUPPERGER married wife #2 (name UNKNOWN) and they had one son John LUPPERGER, b. before 1900 in Hungary.

Anna LUPPERGER b. abt 1881. At age 24 she came to American 10 Feb 1905 joining her cousin, Josef Bregler / Breger in Philadelphia, Pa.

Sophia LUPPERGER & Frank. I was told died during WW1 she was a nurse.

Frank & Katte Lupperger Sr.

Frank came to the US first with his Aunt Anna. I have a ships record for her on an earlier passage, she apparently made more than one trip.

Frank LUPPERGER was born Abt. 1879 in Budapest Hungary, and died Abt. 1936 in Davey, Broward County, Florida.  Frank & Katie came to America about 1910.  No passenger record has been located for them.

Marriage # 2: Katte BALL b: 23 Sep 1887 in Hungary, daughter of Joel BALL and Agnes LANA. She was born 23 Sep 1887 in Hungary, and died Jun 1971 in Capemay Courthouse, NJ.

John LUPPERGER b. abt 1887, Hungary, year estimated according to his age of 19 when he came to America 26 Feb 1909, last residence was Temeswar.  He was joining sister Anna at 2426 W 21st St, Phil Pa., traveling with others from Temeswar: Bognar, Ferencz / Vogel, Henrik / Oeskai, Geza / Schwarz, Adam   and lived in Philadelphia most of his life.  He married and had children who have spread out to other parts of the country.

Rudolph LUPPERGER b: 18 Jul 1905 in Budapest Hungary

NOTE: (possible passenger record): View passenger record via Ellis Island for Luberger, Rezso (Note: Rezsö is Hungarian for Rudolph) age 5 est dob: 1906 Born in Temesag, Hungary.  Joining father Frank Luberger at 66 E 116th St., NY City, NY.  With him was his brother Luberger, Pal (Note: Pál is Hungarian for Paul) age 6 est dob: 1905 - they were traveling with Zoffmann, Rezso age 46 & Zoffmann, Zsuzsanna - indicates their Aunt.

1930 Census Located a record for Adolph Lupperger age 23, but clearly reads Rudolph on the actual census.  States born in Germany, immigrated 1912.
