A brief history of the church . . .

The parish was founded in 1766, before it was Doroszló and daughter Gombos Church. The old church was built in 1764, expanded in 1785 and built a new one. The tower was built in 1924 and enlarged in 1934-36 in the church again. The church is named after Bishop St. Martin.
