Batschka Coat of Arms
From the 13th century
infrastructure of the Catholic Church in Hungary. After Hungary was
rescued from the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire this became the coat of
arm of the Country again. In this picture you can see Saint Paul
with a sword. This sword is an attribute of Saint Paul.
This old coat of arm is also used
today in other coat of arms, such as in part of coat of arm of
Woiwodina and Bács-Kiskun County in Hungary. Since the borders
changed after the First World War, the Batschka (Bács-Bodrog County)
is divided.
