My father and I took some photos of the empty and unused catholic
church buildings (formerly used by the Schwaben) in Karavukovo, Miletitsch and Hodschag. I would like to somehow share them with the
DVHH community. I think they may be interesting for those people
whose ancestors came from these villages, went to and built these
buildings in the past, or anybody else who is interested in the
topic.

Karavukovo Catholic Church, 2012

In the photos it can be seen how these precious buildings look like
today (the photos were taken July 2012). It is needless to say that
they are in a very-very bad condition. Nobody uses them and nobody
cares about them. It's sad. For example, there are holes on the
roof, the windows are broken, the walls are also almost in ruins,
and there are graffiti's on them, too, pigeons are everywhere inside
the buildings, etc... But I don't mention more, let the photos
speak.
