Cabbage
Salad

this often on my trips to Romania and Germany. |

Shred a head of cabbage 'very' thinly. Soak
in water, add a couple of tablespoons of sugar for about an hour,
then drain and let
air dry a bit.

Peel and cut in chunks of slices of
cucumber, lots of it.
-
Slice a large red/purple onion.
-
Add at least 1/2 cup vinegar and salt and pepper
to taste.
-
Top with sliced tomato.
