The “Dreschmaschine”

These threshing
photos were taken around 1930, in the
village of Darkowatz, Slavonia,
formerly Yugoslavia, today Croatia.
This small village
was founded 1901/02 by Baron Turkovic,
who only sold land to German persons
confessing the Evangelical faith.
The fate of this
small village ended in 1943.
