I am trying to find information on my great grandfather Georg Schreiber.
All I know is he lived in Hungary I believe in Bruckneau. He was born
around 1868 he was married to an Elisabeth Dill(Till) also born around
1868. They had at least two sons Josef (1897)and Mathias (1901). He was
here in the states in 1906 in Ohio. Elisabeth and Mathias came in 1906 as
well. They all returned to Hungary in 1909/10.

I found a Josef immigrating to the U.S. in 1914 with a Janos Schreiber
Born 1869 born in Bencsek? Both going to College Point NY. Not sure if
Janos and Josef are related to each other.

Mathias returned in 1922 staying with his brother Josef in College Point NY.

I have relatives that were born in your lovely town, Bruckenau. They are: Eva Keller, 1902; John Keller, abt 1909.  An older sister, Anna Keller probably born in the 1890s. Their parents, Johann and Magdalena Keller were born about 1878. Magdalena's maiden name was Schavillie. Johann's father was Peter Keller who lived in Bruckenau.  They came to the New York on May 5, 1910 on the Pennsylvania which departed from Cuxhaven on April 23, 1910.  They were Catholics, so there are probably birth records at the church.
