During our trip to the Mahala's Cemetery September 2005 we learned that our surname Katzler had a grave that was being auctioned off.  When we learned of this I asked the caregiver of the cemetery books if I could pay for the up keep on the grave for 25 years.  The care taker said no that the grave was sold already to another family.  The name of Katzler was white out and a new name was written over the Katzler's name.  The care giver of the cemetery books allowed pictures to be taken of the book.  Below are 2 images pieced together, click left/right to enlarge.

When I asked why it went to auction I was told that the family members moved back to Germany and no longer wanted to pay to keep the grave up of their great grandfather.

So according to the records no Katzler had been in that grave.
