I just found this web site and am reading each section carefully. My family was from outside Temesvar in much smaller villages. I am just now starting to research their villages. I have found pictures on this site of churches from their villages. I even look for family names in every section I visit. Keep up the good work. I will revisit often.

Hello, thanks for the information on Fridorf. My grandfather, Philipp Wesely emigrated to Chicago, Illinois, USA at the age of 16 from Freidorf in 1907. I believe he was a day laborer on a farm, and his parents (unknown) or relatives helped him leave Freidorf with an older relative with the surname of Kleinfeilder.
